The line quality in her drawings, that subtle gentle draughtsmanship with such attention to detail.

Known best for her still life paintings, Fedden always carried a sketchbook, had loads of them - most artists do and I'm no exception - and worked from her sketches in her studio, never painted away from it, not even a watercolour.
